  • Cancellation Policy
    Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost. Repeat no-shows or late cancellations may result in the requirement of a non-refundable deposit for future bookings or refusal of the further services in nail_desk
  • Booking and Confirmation
    All appointments must be booked in advance, either online, by phone, or in person. A confirmation message will be sent to your email upon booking.
  • Punctuality
    Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time, rescheduling and fees If you are late up to 15 minutes nail_desk reserves the right to cut your appointment to a shorter one in the price of a booked one. If you are more than 15 minutes late nail_desk may refuse to service you at this time and request a fee.
  • Allergies and Reactions
    Clients are responsible for informing the technician of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities prior to the service. While we use high-quality products that meet European Union testing standards, allergic reactions can occur, and nail_desk is not responsible for any adverse reactions.
  • Health and Safety
    Clients must ensure that their nails and surrounding skin are healthy for treatment. Any contagious conditions should be disclosed to prevent spreading. Our tools are either sterilised in an autoclave or are single-use to ensure the highest hygiene standards.
  • Contraindications
    The nail technician has the right to refuse to perform nail stylisation if the nails are damaged, infected, or if any other contraindications occur. This is to ensure the safety and health of both the client and the technician. In the interests of the comfort and safety of all customers, we inform you that children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the salon. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the need to change the date of the visit and a fee of 50% of the value of the agreed service We reserve the right to refuse to provide service to persons who are under the influence of alcohol, prohibited substances or who behave inappropriately towards employees or clients of the salon. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the a fee of 50% of the value of the agreed service. We reserve the right to refuse to provide service to persons who have repetitively broke the rules of the salon.
  • Quality Assurance
    We use only high-quality products that comply with European Union regulations and testing. Our technicians are trained professionals who adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Satisfaction Guarantee
    If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify us before leaving the studio so we can address your concerns promptly.
  • Personal Information
    We respect your privacy and will protect your personal information. Any details collected during the booking process will be used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
  • Social Media
    Clients are obliged to inform us if they do not want photos of their nails posted on social media at the time of their appointment. If a photo is posted and you wish for it to be removed, please contact us, and we will promptly take it down.
  • Communication
    By providing your contact information, you agree to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and occasional promotional messages from Nail_Desk. Please note that while we strive to send reminders and notifications, technological issues may sometimes prevent these from being delivered. This does not absolve clients from their responsibility to show up for their appointments as scheduled.
  • Pricing
    Service prices are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be provided at the time of booking.
  • Payment Methods
    We accept payments by bank transfer or cash. There is no card payment. Payments can be made in ISK, USD, GBP, or EUR.
  • Fix ups and refunds
    In justified cases, we offer a free re-performance of the service or a refund. The decision to re-perform the service or issue a refund is made by the salon owner or the employee who performed the service. Please note that Nail Desk does not fix nails made by other salons. If a client has not booked certain services in advance (including fixing a broken nail) it is at the discretion of the nail stylist and dependent on time availability whether we will provide the services that were not booked.
  • Limitations of Liability
    Nail_Desk is not responsible for any damage to personal belongings or injuries that occur while on the premises. Clients agree to release Nail_Desk and its staff from any liability related to the services provided.
  • Force Majeure
    Nail_Desk is not liable for any failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
  • Changes to Terms and Conditions
    Nail_Desk reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication platforms.
